Mindfulness meditation is embracing the principle of awareness and presence in the
moment, without judgment of the thoughts, feelings, or actions which might occur. The
goal of meditation is not to change or stop thoughts or emotions, but rather to change your
relationship with them, and to become less identified with the stories our minds create. Just
the practice of sitting with the intention to meditate is considered successful meditation.
Classes will be 45 minutes long, with opening and closing periods of guided meditation, and a
check-in or Q&A.
Private meditation sessions are intended to provide the practitioner with the ability to access
insight, awareness, and mindfulness. Sessions will be guided, with periods of silence and Q&A,
or can be tailored to meet the specific need of the practitioner.
